Congratulations to Chelsea Miller for being recognized in the Cape Cod Times last Friday. Chelsea is a shining star and a great example of the excellent work being done in our DY Schools!

Here is an excerpt from the article:

But diabetes is not why Miller stands out. Rather, it’s her presence as a captain for the D-Y track team, a cross country runner in the fall and a hurdler in the winter and spring seasons – the only time of day she isn’t wearing her pump. It’s her 4.0-plus grade point average that has her tentatively slated to graduate in June as Class of 2010 valedictorian, and her accomplishments as a violinist that make Miller someone hard to miss.

Miller is also a 2008 recipient of the Frank Kelley Adversity Award, given by the State Track Coaches Association to a student-athlete who has overcome hardship.
