Congratulations and Kudos on a fantastic first year kid road race “Faces of Our Future!” There were over 160 children who participated in the race! And we raised enough money to give each of our 7 schools $700. The principal of each school will use the money where it is needed for things such as new technology, field trips, reading materials, and gym equipment.

Thank you to all the parents, children, and adult runners who participated in both the kid race and the 5K race. It was an amazing turnout! And it was so fun to see our community come together for a common cause!

Thank you to the Yarmouth Police Department for choosing DY Schools as one of the beneficiaries of the “YPD 5K Run for a Reason” Road Race this year! We are very grateful DY Schools were chosen and look forward to partnering with our friends at the YPD again next year.

And speaking of next year, we are already planning for next year!

We will not be a beneficiary of the YPD 5K race next year as they choose different beneficiaries each year. Our races will be coordinated together on the same day and location.  So, in the meantime, we need to line up sponsors for next year’s kid race. Please join our cause and earn some publicity for your business!
